About Us
Prakash Gramin Jan Kalyan Samiti (PGJKS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the overall development of society, especially the underprivileged. We work in the fields of education, health, women empowerment, skill development, environment protection, cultural promotion, and social welfare. Through various initiatives, training programs, awareness campaigns, and welfare projects, we aim to uplift children, women, youth, and marginalized communities, helping them live with dignity and self-reliance.

Our mission is to bring positive social change by providing free education, healthcare, food support, and skill training to those in need. We strive to empower women, children, and the underprivileged by creating opportunities for growth, self-employment, and better living standards while promoting social harmony, national integration, and sustainable development.
Our vision
We envision a society where no child is deprived of education, no family sleeps hungry, no patient suffers due to lack of treatment, and every individual gets equal opportunities for growth. PGJKS dreams of building an empowered, educated, healthy, and self-reliant rural India that lives in harmony with nature and upholds values of compassion, unity, and humanity.
Our story
Prakash Gramin Jan Kalyan Samiti was founded with a vision to serve the poor and needy in rural and urban areas. Since its inception, the NGO has been working tirelessly in multiple fields – from setting up schools, libraries, and training centers to organizing health camps, blood donation drives, cultural programs, and disaster relief activities. We provide free education, vocational training in arts and crafts, computer literacy, women skill development, medical aid, and awareness programs on issues like environment protection, AIDS, cancer, polio, dowry elimination, and more.
